“I’m Dev Dewar, nice to meet you.” The look on her face was priceless, and it was taking everything in me not to laugh at her. Had my beautiful daughter not been in the room, I would have gladly done so, though.

“Ni-nice to meet you. I’m Olivia, but my friends call me O.” She stuttered as she reluctantly shook my hand.

Here I was ready to give her one hell of an offer to be my secretary, but she made it so much easier. Now, she wouldn’t have a choice after hiding my kid from me.

“Y’all wanna go out for breakfast?” I quizzed.

“Actually—”

“Yes,” Amya yelled, cutting her mama off, who I’m sure was about to say no.

“Ok, go get dressed, and I’ll meet you in the car,” I bent down to tell her.

“Ok,” she replied, smiling from ear to ear. I’m sure Olivia was wondering how we were bonding so fast, but being the daughter of an Alpha, we already had a connection. That was why I knew she belonged to me. Her scent was my scent, and any wolf that came close to her would know she came from the blood of an Alpha.

I turned and headed to my car without so much as a word from O.

Ah shit, you got a half bred baby.

I’m surprised it took Shilo ass so long to come through. I half expected him to say some ignorant shit when everything was going down.

Nigga, we have a half bred baby. Why you talking like we not one? I responded, getting into the car.

For a second everything went silent, so I responded, hoping he had tucked himself away.

Keep that same energy when you tryna convince me to fuck on Olivia later.

Man, you should have choked her ass out for keepin’ somethin’ like that from you. Fuck tryna fuck her sneaky ass. You should have gone a few rounds with her ass. If I was loose, I would have gladly choked her until she started turning colors.

Shilo was on one, and there was nothing I could really say because he was right. She was wrong, but I’m trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. We didn’t exchange names or numbers; it was truly a one night stand. Hell, she was gone before the sun came up.

Well, we know now, and we got a lot to catch up on. I silenced him just as Amya and her mama walked out of the house.

Damn, I take everything back. Fuck the dog shit out her ass. Fuuuuuuccckkkk!

Shilo quickly changed his mind when he saw Olivia wearing a pair of leggings that gripped her body just right. Her voluptuous curves were making one hell of an appearance.

A slight chuckle escaped as the two of them got into the car.

“Um, hey, so she needs a booster seat,” Olivia spoke softly.

“What the hell is that?” I asked, confused. She was too big to be in a car seat, so I knew that wasn’t what she was talking about.
